Matt Willis (L6ER, featured centre) is going from strength to strength in the demanding discipline of cross country and has recently won the U17 Men’s race at the Welsh National Cross Country Championships, Swansea.
No rest for Matt, as he has also recently won silver in the U17 Men’s race at the British Athletics Cross Challenge, coming just 1 second behind the gold medallist. Great news though, as this was all he needed to take the UK Cross Challenge Series win.
We are delighted to announce that this makes Matt the number 1 U17 cross country runner in Great Britain. He will next compete for Wales in the U20 Men’s race in the Home Countries International Cross Country at the end of this month.
