Football: Joe keeps goal record in the family

One of our Sixth Formers is celebrating the end of the football season as a record breaker!

Joe Flory (U6LES) ended the season with a total of 65 goals to his name, the most goals ever scored by one player in a single season.

The success was even sweeter as the previous record had been held by his older brother, Sam (OKS 2019).

Joe’s record is only part of the 1st XI’s story this season; they won 19 of their matches and reached the finals of both the Cheshire and Chester and District cups.

Last season, Joe also played in the Midland Premier League for men’s semi-professional team Whitchurch Alport but now that the season is over, he is concentrating on his upcoming A Level exams.
