Despite the weather, Willow Lodge Reception class have been having fun in Forest School today toasting marshmallows!
The class have been working on learning fire safety in Forest School. This class included learning how to fold the newspaper to light the fire and then they learnt how to kneel near the fire safely to toast their marshmallows.
Forest School is a great opportunity for the pupils to connect with nature, enjoy a different environment to learn in and build on skills they wouldn’t otherwise be able to do in a classroom.
