Across two days in June, pupils from J1 to J4 showcased their energy, determination and sporting talents across a wide range of events to decide which House would be crowned 2026 Sports Day winners.

Sports Day is a highlight of the Junior School calendar, giving pupils an opportunity to come together in their Houses, cheer one another on, celebrate individual and team successes, and create lasting memories as the school year draws to a close.

Pupils impressed parents, staff and spectators alike with the positivity, resilience and determination they brought to every event. Head of Junior School Sport, Miss Massey, said: “One of the highlights for me was seeing the pupils support and encourage each other throughout the two days.

“Whether competing in an individual event, working together in a relay team or cheering on their Housemates from the sidelines, every child played their part. Their enthusiasm and sportsmanship were outstanding, and it has been fantastic to see the progress they have made in their athletic abilities over the course of the year.”

With just 40 points separating first place and fourth place, it was one of the closest results we have seen in recent years. Congratulations to Lindans, who were crowned Sports Day champions with 577 points. They were followed by Falles in second place, Evans in third and Shepherds in fourth place.

Thank you to our Junior School staff for their excellent organisation, to parents for their enthusiastic support of our young athletes, and to our wonderful KSPA for providing refreshments on both days.
