On 25 March, we held our annual charity day to raise money for Chester-based charity Space who provide accessible play and support for children with additional needs and their families.
On a wonderfully sunny day, there was no shortage of fun ways to donate.
Each House organised its own fundraising initiatives, including:
Fancy-dress was very much encouraged and there were some fantastic costumes on display, including Peaky Blinders, Andy’s toys (from Toy Story) and inflatable dinosaurs.
Teachers dressed as London Underground tube stops, with some choosing more obscure stations (and cryptic costumes) than others.
The day ended with pizza and a disco for Removes and Shells, with dancing led by enthusiastic Sixth Formers.
We will be counting up the money over the next few days and will announce the grand total next week.
