The Mathematical Olympiad for Girls is organised by the UK Maths Trust and is aimed at girls and young women across the UK. The competition consists of five challenging problems, all of which require advanced problem solving and mathematical skills.

Deputy Head of Maths, Mrs Sugarman, entered the girls for the competition and was very impressed with their results.

She said: “We have some very talented mathematicians in the Sixth Form and they really enjoyed challenging themselves in this competition. They should be very proud of the excellent results they achieved as this competition requires them to use advanced skills.”
