Hockey: International selection for Jack

Congratulations to Upper Sixth pupil Jack Nash (U6DUT) who has been selected for the Hockey Wales U21s.

Following an extensive selection process over several months, Jack was delighted to receive news of his selection. 

Director of Hockey, Simon Egerton, congratulated Jack on this achievement: “To be selected for the U21s at the age of 17 is an amazing achievement. I know how hard Jack has worked for this and I am thrilled for him that his hard work has paid off. Many of the players he was competing against for selection were at university, playing prem hockey and were several years older than him!”

Jack, who is an integral part of our Cheshire Cup-winning U18 team, is hoping to join the squad that will travel to Germany and Czechia for a summer of European competition.
