Hockey: U18 girls end the season on a high

Congratulations to the U18 girls hockey team who enjoyed an unbeaten run to win the Cheshire Cup recently.

The tournament was held at King’s Macclesfield where the team played a total of five matches, drawing one and winning four, to take the title.

Director of Hockey, Simon Egerton, accompanied the girls to the tournament.

He said: “This was a great end to a successful season for the U18 girls and, for 11 of the players, the Cheshire Cup final marked their last ever competitive match for King’s; what a way to end their school hockey careers!”
