Independent Schools’ Technicians’ Conference 2019

Yesterday King’s held the annual NENWSCS (North East North West Standing Committee for Science) Independent Schools’ Technicians’ Conference. With over 80 science technicians, workshop organisers and exhibitors attending the day.

The day started with a welcome from Dr Helen Faulkner, Head of Science, followed by an introduction to the day from John-Paul Ashton, RSCiTech Status. Technicians then had the opportunity to participate in four workshops focusing on either Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Science in general.

Those who attended the conference had a highly informative and engaging day, with feedback from the day including:
