Last weekend Luke Dillon (SHDUT) and George Munday (SHBRD) competed at the Ironbridge Regatta 500m sprint rowing J13 singles and J13 double sculls as a pair. They were representing Royal Chester Rowing Club and raced crews from Queen’s Park High RC, Warwick RC, Bristol RC and Huntingdon RC.
They triumphed in both categories with Luke being the J13 singles winner and Luke and George winning the J13 double event.
In July they’re hoping to race up an age at the British rowing Junior Championships where they will compete in the J14 omnium event.
We are looking forward to them joining Kings RC in September.
