King’s 2019 Physics Olympics

This year marked the fourth annual Physics Olympics here at King’s. Nineteen teams from 16 different schools took part in this year’s event. The competition comprised of five individual events that were practical based, and designed to assess team work and the application of key principles. Mrs Kerry Scutter, physics teacher, organised the day with the help of fellow colleagues and sixth formers. A range of teams won prizes throughout the day, with only a couple of points between the winning teams. Congratulations to the winning team, Team Watt from Stockport Grammar School! We hope all those who attended had an enjoyable day.
