It’s been a day of contrasting emotions here at King’s as our Upper Sixth students celebrated a very special Leavers Day.
The day started with a Royal Wedding themed breakfast, as students and staff enjoyed each other’s company and the abundance of treats served up by our catering team. Following the breakfast, the pupils headed out to the fields to partake in an array of activities including a friendly tug-of-war. Next, it was time to reach for the tissues as Mr Hartley, Mr Carter and Mrs Hollingworth led Leavers Assembly and offered the departing pupils some words of wisdom for the future.
The students then gathered for photographs in front of the tower, before an ice cream in the sun.
We wish each and every one of them the best of luck in their exams and we’ll miss you all!
