Maths quiz success

Congratulations to a team of Lower Sixth mathematicians who recently achieved third place in the annual Pop Maths Quiz.

Organised by the Liverpool Mathematical Society, the Pop Maths Quiz is designed to be fun but challenging and attracts young mathematicians from schools both locally and further afield. 

Four of our Lower Sixth pupils travelled to Liverpool John Moores University to take part in the competition and worked well as a team to solve questions on a wide range of mathematical topics. 

In a field of 43 teams, the King’s team was delighted to take joint third place, winning WHSmiths vouchers to the value of £60.
