Open Day Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Open Day this weekend and made it such a huge success.

Every department across the school was open, with teachers and current pupils on hand to answer questions and plenty of exciting activities to get involved in. Our youngest visitors were able to make puppets, masks and biscuits and even toast yummy marshmallows and make pop corn in our Forest School at Willow Lodge! Those visiting the Junior School were treated to a huge variety of activities as well as a treasure hunt and iPad activities. In the Senior School visitors could take part in fun science experiments, watch some fantastic drama or practice ordering food in the Language Cafe (and eating it of course!). The assortment of activities available was truly incredible and encapsulated the sheer range of opportunities we have to offer here at King’s.

In between tours of the school there were inspiring presentations from both Headmaster, Mr George Hartley, and Head of Willow Lodge and King’s Juniors, Mrs Margaret Ainsworth allowing everyone to gain a captivating insight into their respective visions for the school.

We were overwhelmed with the number of people attending and were truly delighted to welcome each and every visitor who chose to come along and see for themselves just what we have to offer here at King’s. If you have any further questions following your visit here on Open Day please do get in touch, we would love to hear from you. If you were unable to attend and would like to book a tour of the school please contact Erica Sears on 01244 689553 who will be more than happy to help you.
