Parent and Alumni Curry & Quiz

Our annual Parent and Alumni Curry & Quiz Night was a brilliant evening of fun, food, and friendly competition. Eleven enthusiastic teams gathered in the Sixth Form Centre to battle it out for the coveted title of Quiz Masters.

Guests first enjoyed a delicious curry supper before the quiz got underway, adding to the warm and lively atmosphere. The evening was expertly hosted by Dr Ravi Jayaram (OKS 1985), who kept everyone entertained with a mix of tricky questions and witty banter.

After a close contest, the winning team ”So Last Year” successfully defended their crown from last year, taking home a bottle of prosecco each in celebration.

The prize for best team name went to another group, who were rewarded with Maltesers, although we can’t publish their inventive name here, as it wasn’t exactly family-friendly!

At the other end of the scoreboard, the traditional wooden spoons were presented to the “Clueless Curry Girls” who, despite finishing in last place, never let their smiles drop! In the spirit of the evening, we promised not to reveal their score but let’s just say that it left plenty of room for improvement!

The night was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and plenty of brain-teasing moments. A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended the event. It was wonderful to see parents and alumni come together, and we are already looking forward to next year’s quiz night!
