Mega Maths

We are incredibly proud of Maisie O’Leary (J4M), Eila O’Connor (J4H), Charlie Marshall (J4H) and Duncan Boyd (J4S) who represented the School at the recent National Young Mathematicians’ Award (NYMA).

They tackled tough competition by trusting their mathematical skills, using great teamwork and working in a very clear and structured way. In the first round they achieved 78% which was the top score from a Chester school, going on to win the Regional Final by scoring an impressive 92%.

Whilst they narrowly missed out on a place in the Grand Final, we would like to congratulate them all for doing so well, their positivity and enthusiasm for the different challenges was a wonder to see.
