Geographers go head to head

Teams went head to head in the Geog Soc debate yesterday, tackling the global issues of climate change and poverty. Six A Level geographers debated with style and precision on whether climate change is a greater priority than tackling issues of social deprivation. Both teams spoke with passion and conviction and gave really convincing arguments to support their cause. It was a close run thing, however when the count came in the environmental argument won the day. Well done to both teams.

Students who took part are: Megan Gareh, Joseph Langley, Adrian Waddelove (Co President of Geog Soc) Polly Chappell (Co President of Geog Soc) Fraser Marsden and Louis MacDonald.
