Our budding scientists in Infant 2 have been investigating flowering plants. They have been finding and naming the parts of plants, and working out what they do. Some children have been talking about how the leaves create energy for the plant through the process of photosynthesis!
They turned their classroom into a laboratory and have conducted an experiment with cress seeds. They set up cress seeds to see if they would grow without water, sunlight and air. Their results are fascinating! Well done Willow Lodge!
