J2 Teeth Talk

Big smiles all round this morning when J2 welcomed Mrs Quail, a dentist and Junior School parent to talk about teeth and dentistry. The children learned about the history of teeth and how teeth have evolved since the times of cavemen! They also learned how to look after their teeth and the impact that sugar has on our teeth and gums. They learned about the different types of teeth they have and how our teeth are structured. The children were given the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and were rewarded with a fantastic goody bag containing stickers, pencils and a timer for cleaning teeth!
