Our Day Out is Outstanding!

Our Day Out was the culmination of KSC Drama Club’s work over the past 2 terms and was a roaring success, playing to large audiences in the Vanbrugh Theatre.

Involving students from Removes, Shells and Thirds, everyone involved created an energetic, funny and sometimes even poignant performance. Hannah Evans (RmNG), Angus Millard (3HS) and Ellie Cody-Ward admirably led the proceedings as the slightly worn and weary teaching staff whilst Eden Hambelton-Davies (ShEH) turned in a great performance as grumpy Mr Briggs.

Ted Toovey (RmRA) was utterly hilarious as the bus driver whilst Owen Reece-Jones (3JJ), Sameer Dhanjee (ShAD) and Jonny Madden (ShMP) were completely convincing as the young lovable delinquents Digga, Rilley and Andrews. Amy Ford (RmNG) delivered a sympathetic and endearing performance as Carol whilst we even had some notable staff cameos by Mr Bibby, Ms Hollingworth and Ms Rutberg taking on the roles of various other characters that the students met along the way.

It was clear that all involved had a lot of fun bringing these scenes to life and the end result was a riotously funny and engaging lunchtime of theatre!
