Proud to be the top performing school in Cheshire

We are proud to be the top performing independent school in Cheshire, according to The Times Parent Power Top Independent Secondary School Guide 2018. Every year, our students head off to study at the most prestigious universities in the UK.  The Times Parent Power Guide also rated us as the best school in the North for our leavers’ destinations, with 83% of our leavers studying at a Times Top 25 or Russell Group University in 2017.

2017 was a record-breaking year for GCSE results. Not only did we report the best ever results here at King’s, but the best results for any school in Cheshire.

  • 80.5% of grades were  A*/A with over 94% of grades at A*/B

Our A Level students are consistently successful in gaining places not only at their first choice university, but on the most competitive courses too, including medicine, science, accountancy, business, economics, history and languages. If you’d like to be part of this amazing journey at King’s Sixth Form, and to hear directly from our students, please visit here.
