Remarkable year for representative hockey at King’s

Congratulations to 29 talented King’s hockey players who have been selected to play representative hockey.

Two Sixth Formers currently play for Wales in the U21 and U18 squads, having come through the younger age groups within the Welsh Hockey systems.

The English system starts with selection for Academy Centres which is similar to the old ‘County’ level, then players would progress from that to Performance Centres which are above County but sub-Regional. From there, the best ones later in the year could progress to the Regional Centre, and then on to England at their age group.
