All-rounder Liam celebrates record season

Talented Liam Yahathugoda (J4S) is celebrating a tremendous year of cricketing success.

Liam was the leading run scorer at ECB Taunton Cricket Festival 2019 for both age groups (U11 and U10) where he topped the run charts in both weeks. He was also the leading run scorer for Cheshire Youth Cricket across all age groups this year scoring an incredible 742:

U11 – 229 runs (4 games) – average 57.25
U10 – 120 runs (3 games) – average 60.00

In one particular highlight, when scoring his maiden hundred for the County, Liam met Sir Alistair Cook who signed his bat. At the Cheshire Awards Evening, Liam won the batting awards for both U11 and U10 age groups.

Amazing achievements – well done, Liam!
