Getting creative with science

Senior School pupils have been busy devising an array of creative methods to assist their understanding of internal organs in biology lessons.

These have included organs sewing fabric into the shape of a pancreas, baking colourful cookies to replicate the kidneys and a paper mâché heart.

After drawing a life-size outline of the human body, pupils added in their hand-made internal organs and researched facts and figures relating to the function of each one.
