Staff and pupils were treated to a varied musical programme yesterday as King’s monthly music recitals made a welcome return.
Director of Music, Mrs Whitfield, welcomed the audience to the first lunchtime recital in 18 months, and introduced ten musicians from across the Senior School.
Lunchtime recitals are not only a great way for pupils to showcase the results of their hard work and their talents, they also give pupils valuable experience of performing in front of an audience. Today’s audience enjoyed performances on piano, guitar, xylophone, flute, saxophone, trumpet and voice.
