Season of goodwill

Our Charity Prefects, Freya Walsh (U6FOX) and Mark Turner (U6GRO), have been doing a fantastic job since they were appointed last summer.

This term, Freya and Mark have led an assembly inviting pupils to be thinking of others in this season of goodwill in the run up to Christmas. We have asked for donations of shoeboxes for the Teams 4U appeal, food for West Cheshire Foodbank and ‘socks and chocks’ for Share to distribute locally to those in need this Christmas.

The response, as always, has been amazing. There are 175 shoeboxes on their way to bring some joy to orphanages in Belarus and we have dropped off over 100 pairs of socks and chocs to Share.

We had set a goal to beat a previous year’s food bank donation of half a ton of food and we are well on our way to reach this goal. The charity team would like to thank all tutors, pupils and parents for all their kind donations.
