King’s are victorious at Chester & District League Finals

A dramatic day of football yesterday at King’s whilst hosting the Chester & District League Finals. A fantastic event for all the schools involved, and after a number of hard fought matches and much determination we won 3 of the 6 district titles.

Our U13s team won a tight match 5-4 on penalties v Upton

Our U16s won yet another tight match 6-5 on penalties v Bishop Heber (deserving winners as they dominated the game, but found the Heber goalkeeper in inspired form!)

Our 1st XI were victorious over 2-1 v Christleton.

Our U15s were runners up playing well but lost out to Upton 1-2 in the finals

Well done to all who took part and made this such a fantastic and at times nail-biting League Final.
