Netball success for King’s girls

A super week of netball for our girls last week with both our U14 and U16 netball teams securing great wins.

The U14B netball squad played in the Chester and District netball tournament against Bishop Heber, Upton and Queens. The first match was against Bishop Heber, it came to a final score of 8-2 to King’s. The second match against Queens finished at 15-2 to King’s and even though the rain began to pour they continued to play well winning 10-0 against Upton. These results lead the U14 netball girls to come first in the tournament!

Our U16 team were equally successful at the District Tournament. They have won this tournament for the last four years, and being the last time they play together were keen to make it a fifth win!

Playing Heber first, the girls played strongly with a final score of 14-2 to King’s. With Upton next the shooting and attack were fantastic with a final score of 11-1 to King’s. Tarporley were the last game. With yet more fantastic play and a final win of 9-0.

Well done to U14B squad players : Anisa Kiely (captain), Sophie Smith, Issy Donnachie, Freya Beyeler, Ellie Wilson, Molly Ellis, Isabelle Griffin, Anya Adapala, Leila Prendergast and Lily Kenningham
