Regatta success for Lester-Smith House

With the announcement of the new house structure here at King’s, we have recently held our first house regatta.

Eight house VIIIs took to the water in a straight knock out regatta,  raced over a 400 metre two lane course. The racing was fast and furious and many of the early favourites fell in the early rounds, however after two hours of racing and a very close final, Lester-Smith House emerged victorious!  The House Trophy, which dates back to the 1940s, was awarded to Daniel Sharratt as the winning cox. The trophy will now have the Lester-Smith House name engraved onto it, to be part of history for years to come. Well done Lester-Smith House!
