A starring role for Eden

Just a year after leaving King’s, Eden Hambelton-Davies has swapped life at school for a life on set after being cast in the lead role of a brand new ITV drama.

Eden left King’s after his GCSEs in 2020 to study at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and pursue his dream of being a professional actor. Almost exactly a year later, he is four weeks into filming and, despite an exhausting schedule, he is living his dream.

“Tell Me Everything” is a provocative – but funny – teen drama in which Eden will play 16-year-old Jonny Murphy who, despite being loved by friends and family, suffers from undiagnosed depression and anxiety.

The show is a celebration of adolescence but won’t shy away from the difficult subjects that face today’s teens. Examining the impact of social media on teen mental health, we will see the show’s characters experiment with drink, drugs and relationships, and explore their own sexuality. ITV are understandably excited about the project and recently published this press release.

Director of Drama, Clare Howdon, told us how proud she is to see Eden’s hard work and perseverance pay off.

She said: “Eden is a spectacularly talented actor who contributed so much to drama at King’s. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a former pupil achieve their dreams, and I was touched to receive an email from Eden thanking me and other staff here for believing him and giving him the confidence to pursue acting as a career.”

Eden has recently signed with United Agents and, with a second series of “Tell Me Everything” already being discussed, we look forward to seeing much more of him on our screens in the future!
