Top university choice for jubilant A Level students

The King’s School is celebrating another fantastic year of A Level results, with more than 80% of students securing their first-choice university place.

The entire year group were praised by Head of Sixth Form Josh Carter and Headmaster George for their resilience and determination.

Headmaster George Hartley said: “We worked hard as a school to offer as much support and guidance as possible, but inevitably they did face a degree of disruption and uncertainty at a crucial time in their education and development.

“I am confident that the adaptability and resilience they have developed over the past 18 months will stay with them for life and, combined with these fantastic results, will be a solid foundation for future success.”

The following students achieved four A* grades:
Ross Clark, Madeline Ellis, Mansi Gupta, Thomas Leitch, Blair McCormick, Angus Millard, Gabrielle Parkinson, Daniel Rajapandian, William Standing, Mark Turner, Freya Walsh and Riyaan Yesudian.

The following students achieved three A* grades:
Lauren Barnes, Emma Henry, Chloe Horton, Tilly Irvine, Thomas Jackson, Kieran Moon, Lucy Plunkett, Soumya Saladi, James Read, Lily Walker and Oliver Whittlestone.

The following students achieved three A* and one A:
Joshua Acton, Max Hollywood, Luke Mulholland, Nicholas Riding, Daniel Roberts and Annabelle Temple.
