Willow Lodge Book Bingo winners

Congratulations to our Willow Lodge Book Bingo winners!

At the beginning of the year, each pupil was given a bingo sheet with a number of fun categories such as “a book with a dragon on the cover” and “a book from the year you were born”. Over the past six months, the children have been working towards completing their sheet. 

Senior School Librarian, Mrs Harding has been visiting Willow Lodge weekly to check on pupils’ progress and she has already awarded small prizes for every line and Full House completed.

She said: “I always get such an enthusiastic reception when I visit Willow Lodge for Book Bingo but even I was blown away by the response to this year’s challenge.

“An amazing 63 children completed their Book Bingo sheets with 16 of those in Kingfishers alone!

Bloomsbury Children’s Books kindly gifted us a selection of books to give an extra incentive for the children to complete the challenge.

Everyone who completed Book Bingo had their name entered into a draw to win one of those books and in assembly, Head of Willow Lodge, Mrs Ainsworth drew one name at random from each class.
