Beach day fun!

When the infants couldn’t go to the beach, we brought the beach to them!

Willow Lodge turned the field into a beach for a fabulously fun day at the seaside to celebrate the end of the year. The children enjoyed beach games, building sandcastles, playing in the sprinklers and even a spot of sunbathing. 

Typically for the British seaside, the rain also made an appearance but proving that there’s no such thing as bad weather when you have the right clothing, the Infant 2’s pulled on their wellies and waterproofs to carry on the fun!

A picnic lunch was enjoyed by all, and a special visit from the ice cream van rounded off the day with a tasty treat. 

We wish all of our infants and their families a wonderful summer, and we look forward to seeing them again in September.
