The KSPA is looking for more parents to join them and to become involved in both supporting the school and  supporting the fundraising the KSPA does in order to provide additional equipment and facilities for our children at the school.

As well as looking for general volunteers and supporters at events we are looking for parents to take on the following Committee roles -

Treasurer - a parent willing to take on the role of Treasurer from September 2012 when the current parent retires.  This is a good time to join as you would be able to work alongside the current Treasurer ( as Assistant Treasurer) for 12 months to ensure a smooth cross-over.

The Treasurer’s role involves the banking of KSPA cash and cheques, the issuing of cheques and cash floats, maintaining the accounts and presenting the financial situation to monthly committee meetings, ensuring compliance with the Charity Commission and Lotteries Act and working alongside the 200 Club Administrator.

‘200’ Club Administrator – we are also looking for a parent willing to take on the role of 200 Club Administrator.  This involves promoting the 200 Club, overseeing the collection of subscriptions and payments, and  managing the monthly draws.  The Administrator would work closely with the Treasurer. The roles could be combined with ease.

Refreshments Co-Ordinator – we are looking for a parent to co-ordinate the provision of refreshments by the KSPA at Kings School functions.  We are looking for someone to collate a list of volunteers who are happy to be contacted with regards to offering a couple of hours occasionally to support the serving of refreshments at School events.  The person would also need to ensure that the KSPA held sufficient stock for each event.
