Fancy writing a sonnet?

From now until Monday the 6^th of February, the Passion for Poetry team will be accepting any and all entries into this year’s Valentine Verse Sonnet Competition.

Express you love for a favourite person, place, pet, possession (in fact just about anything) for your chance to win some chocolate!

All entries should be based in some form of sonnet (consisting of 14 lines)

In the case of a tie, winners will be selected based on how well they adhere to traditional sonnet format. So if you wish to gain that extra edge, find out more about sonnet forms (information can be found at http://www.sonnets.org/basicforms.htm
