Former Pupil achieves Fashion Success

copyright Lisa FlemingA former pupil, Felix Chabluk-Smith, has been awarded a place at the highly prestigious Royal College of Art in London to study a two year Masters Degree in Men’s Fashion. He is the first student for 15 years to be allowed to specialise in menswear (the workload in creating a menswear collection far exceeds that of a womenswear collection).

He has also won the Edinburgh College 'Stewart Parvin Award' 2011 (also known as the 'Best Graduate Award').  Stewart Parvin, the Queen's couturier, a former graduate himself of the College, presented the award.

Felix has been awarded one of three Burberry internships given as first prize in their national annual competition.
