The free lunchtime recitals that took place throughout June and July saw current and former pupils perform to audiences of pupils, staff and visitors over nine lunchtimes. The standard of performance was breathtaking, showcasing a wide range of musical genres.

- Zara Fyfe soprano
Zara has just completed her first years at Trinity College of Music studying Voice under Sophie Grimmer. - Dan Daly tenor
Dan is reading Music at Durham University. - Eleanor Sowden mezzo soprano and Jonathan Gleek piano
Upper Sixth pupil Eleanor Sowden is a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and is joined by former pupil Jonathan Gleek for a light programme of jazz and popular songs. - Mark Swinton organ
Former pupil Mark Swinton is an internationally-acclaimed organist, currently Organist and Director of Music at Kendal Parish Church. - Fergal O’Mahony piano
After leaving King's Fergal studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, University of Manchester and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He has performed frequently throughout the UK and Europe as well as in Kazakhstan and the USA. - Jonathan Cooke tenor
- Jonathan is studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with Iain Paton. He has sung for Garsington Opera, European Opera and Scottish Opera, and in concert halls all over the UK. - Graham Scott piano
Graham is now Head of the School of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, and gave a recital on our new Yamaha C7 grand piano.
