Computer Science at King’s Seniors
· The GCSE specification has computational thinking as its core, helping students to develop the skills to solve problems, design systems, and understand human and machine intelligence.
· The course is practical and students feel they are able to apply the principles they learn in class to real-world systems in an exciting and engaging way.
· Students also have the opportunity to extend and stretch their programming skills with other enrichment opportunities such as the Cipher Challenge and the PiWars Robot competitions.
· Computer Science has an ‘ethical hacking’ club where students can learn about Cyber Security.
